What you need to know
Before the shoot

Midtown West, Manhattan, NYC! It’s a couple blocks down from Columbus Circle. The address will be emailed to you the day before the shoot.

A “look” is a character type. It consists of the outfit, makeup, hair, and acting choices that go into it.
Your choices should reflect the characters you can currently play and the projects you are right for.
Although you get unlimited looks, I recommend deciding on the 2-3 most important ones to hit first.

Bring outfits that reflect the characters you are hoping to be cast as. Layering with jackets, jewelry, hair accessories, etc. is great!
To maximize our time together, please be ready to go in your first look at the start of the session.
Please remember that any time you spend on hair/makeup/outfit changes counts towards our total session time together!

Please arrive with your hair and makeup already done. I advise you to bring your supplies with you in case you want to do a quick mid-shoot touch up or “bump” (ie changing to a darker lip color).
I will also monitor stray hairs and things like that during the shoot :)
Please remember that any time you spend on hair/makeup/outfit changes counts towards our total session time together!

Please come alone! It will make the process smoother and allow you to fully focus on yourself and the work we have to do. If not, there is space directly outside the studio for your guest to wait for you.
The exceptions are:
if you are under 18, you may bring an adult parent or guardian in the room.
After the shoot

I will email you a link to the full, downloadable gallery within 3 business days of your session. From there, you can select which photos you’d like me to retouch by following the instructions in that email.
After those retouch requests are received, I will send the retouched photos back within 12 business days.
You are allowed to request changes to my edits ONCE. After that, it will be an additional $25 per round of changes.

My retouching includes color correction, brightening, and removing temporary things like blemishes, mascara fallout, and a stray hair or two. I can also reduce facial redness, dark eye circles, and slightly brighten your teeth.
I do not digitally recreate services that can be done in a salon like facial/body hair removal, nail color or fill, eyebrow shaping, adding makeup, etc.
Your makeup, clothes, hair, overall skin texture, and background colors will remain what it was on camera.

You may post both edited and unedited photos. When posting unedited ones, I just ask that you state that.
I reserve the right to post your photos on my social media accounts, website, and on any promotional materials.

My top local recommendation is Quick Color Custom Photo Lab in Manhattan. I am not affiliated with them, but I have been their customer for years. They are quick, better and cheaper than places like Walgreens, and even crop your headshots to 8×10 and add the border with your name for free.
Policies

If you are running late, I will try my best to accommodate under the time constraints. Please understand that there may be clients scheduled immediately after you, so flexibility will certainly be attempted, but cannot be guaranteed.
Full payment is still due on the day of the shoot.

The deposit is due at the time of booking. It goes towards the total cost, and it is non-refundable. However, it is transferrable up to 1 time only.
To transfer the deposit to a new session, please rebook within 48 hours of cancelling OR within 48 hours of the missed/cancelled shoot, whichever comes first. If you do not, the deposit is forfeited. The rebooked session must fall within 30 days of the missed/cancelled shoot.
You may choose a different package than you originally selected.
In the case you do not wish to rebook, the deposit is forfeited.

I do not offer refunds or reshoots. Rather, I encourage you to speak up during the session if something is not working for you.
